These terms are an agreement between you and Polsiva Private Limited ("Polsiva", "we", "us"). They cover the PrepMango website and apps ("PrepMango", "the service"). By creating an account or using PrepMango, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Please also read our privacy notice. It explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use PrepMango
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must give a real email address you can access, and keep your sign-in safe.
- One person, one account. Do not make extra accounts to get more free use.
2. What PrepMango is
PrepMango helps you prepare for job interviews. It builds a study plan from the job you describe, teaches topics, and lets you practice with quizzes, flashcards, a resume grill and mock interviews by text. An AI interviewer called "Meera" runs the text mocks. Where you see a Speak button, you can dictate an answer: your speech is turned into text on our server and put in the box for you to check before you send it.
Free beta
- PrepMango is free during the beta. You are not charged and we take no payments now.
- It has daily limits (for example on AI answers, dictation, and how many plans you can make a week). Limits can change.
- Some features may be paused or changed at any time. The beta may have bugs.
- Paid plans may come later. If they do, we will tell you in the app and by email before anything is charged, and you will choose whether to buy. Nothing in the beta turns into a charge by itself.
3. AI is a study aid, not an authority
- PrepMango uses AI to read your documents, write feedback, grade answers and play the interviewer. AI can be wrong. Scores and feedback are guidance, not a prediction of how any real interviewer will judge you.
- Lessons are written by our team and may contain mistakes. If you spot one, please report it to us at contact@prepmango.com. Check important points against official documentation.
- Company information (for example a company's interview rounds) is shown only with a source link. If we have no verified source, we say "No verified info". Always check the company's own official pages. We do not guarantee it is complete or current.
- We give no guarantee of any interview result, job offer, or salary.
- Do not rely on PrepMango for legal, medical, immigration or financial advice.
4. Your account and your content
- Your content means what you upload or give us: resumes, job descriptions, files, text, answers and any speech you dictate. You keep all rights in it.
- You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process and send your content to our service providers (listed in the privacy notice) only to run the service for you: build your plan, give feedback, turn your dictation into text, show your Activity and keep things secure. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups for the period stated in the privacy notice.
- We do not sell your content and we do not show it to other users.
- To provide the AI features we send your content to our AI service provider, Google (the Gemini API). It processes it under Google's own terms, which may change. For now we use Google's free tier, on which Google may use what is sent, and the AI's replies, to improve its products, so please do not put sensitive personal details in your resume, notes or answers beyond what your prep needs. We will move to Google's paid tier, which does not, and update the privacy notice when we do. See the privacy notice.
- You promise that you have the right to upload your content and that doing so does not break the law or anyone's rights.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload another person's personal data (for example someone else's resume or private messages) unless they have clearly allowed you.
- Upload anything illegal, harmful, hateful, or that you do not have the right to use.
- Use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automation on PrepMango, or call our servers in ways the app does not.
- Try to get around limits, rate limits or security, including by making multiple accounts.
- Try to break, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or look for vulnerabilities without our written permission. (If you find a security problem, please report it at the security contact on our site.)
- Try to trick the AI into ignoring its rules, or to reveal our prompts, other users' data, or system secrets.
- Use PrepMango to harass, cheat or deceive anyone, or to copy and resell our lessons or question bank.
- Share your account or sign-in codes.
If you break these rules we can warn you, limit your use, or end your account (section 8).
6. Our content and IP
- The lessons, question bank, quizzes, design, logo, name and software in PrepMango belong to Polsiva or our licensors. PrepMango, the PrepMango mango logo and Polsiva are our marks.
- You may use them for your own personal interview preparation. You may not copy, sell, publish, scrape or build a competing product from them.
- Outside links and sources belong to their owners.
- If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything, without using your personal data.
Data credits
The Role and Company suggestions on the New prep page come from open data. We keep each name once, tidy it for search, and show it only as a suggestion you can take or ignore.
- Job titles: This page includes information from the O*NET 31.0 Database by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration (USDOL/ETA). Used under the CC BY 4.0 license. O*NET® is a trademark of USDOL/ETA. Polsiva has modified all or some of this information: we use only the occupation titles and job titles, each unique title once, without the rest of the database. USDOL/ETA has not approved, endorsed, or tested these modifications. Questions about our changes: contact@prepmango.com.
- Companies: names, other names, countries and websites from Wikidata (public domain, CC0), and US-listed company names and stock tickers from SEC EDGAR (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, public data). A company's appearance in the list does not mean it is connected with or endorses PrepMango.
7. Availability and changes
- We try to keep PrepMango running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
- We may change, pause or stop features, or the whole service. During the beta we may do this without notice. If we end the service, we will give notice where we reasonably can and let you download your data first.
- We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email. If you keep using PrepMango after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not agree, delete your account.
8. Ending your account
- You can stop any time: Account menu, Privacy & my data, Delete account. Your data is then deleted as the privacy notice explains (within 30 days, including backups).
- We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if the law requires, if we must protect other users or our systems, or if the beta ends. We will give notice where reasonable and where safe to do so.
- After ending, sections that by nature continue (for example IP, disclaimers, liability and law) still apply.
9. Disclaimers
PrepMango is provided "as is" and "as available" during the beta. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about accuracy, fitness for a purpose, or uninterrupted service.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Polsiva is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunity or loss of a job or offer. Our total liability to you for anything related to PrepMango is limited to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Indemnity
You are responsible for your content and your use of PrepMango.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer law.
Before going to court, please use our grievance redressal process.
13. Other points
- If part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
- We may transfer our rights to another company (for example in a merger). You may not transfer yours without our consent.
- These terms and the privacy notice are the whole agreement between us about PrepMango.
- Notices to you: by email or in the app. Notices to us, and privacy matters: contact@prepmango.com.
